Wow, it's been busy lately! I never really got a chance to come on at all. It's hard to believe I haven't blogged since February!
I recently went on a trip with my school for a few nights. It was pretty rainy, though, so everyone was muddy and wet from the hikes and games. I had a blast, but I'm glad to be home to my warm bed, my own shower, my electronics (could hardly bare it w/o my iPod and computer) and my boyfriend, who unfortunately couldn't come :(
I haven't been working on my writing a lot lately, but I'll try to squeeze a poem or short story in soon! Thanks to all 9 of my followers! Don't forget to live every moment, laugh every day, and love beyond words<3

Hey, Everybody! I was looking in the mirror today and wasn't very happy w/ the reflection. I got kind of bummed about how I looked and started comaring myself to my friends. They're all pretty good looking, so that bummed me out more. After a while of pondering, though, I came up w/ an idea that's been told to me many times before, but it seemed that I had to put it into a different way to really get the meaning. Here's a quick poem I came up w/ to show you what I mean.
We're All Just Trapped
We don't get to choose
Our eyes or nose
Or skin or hair
Or fingers or toes.
But our bodies
Only provide
A cage to protect
What's important inside.
If you judge someone
By what they can't choose,
Then also expect
It to happen to you.
You can only improve
The way that you live
For we're all just trapped
And you must forgive.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Well, happy Day Before Valentines Day :P So I'm single this year, like last year (...and the year before that...), but it's still going to be a good year! I'm going to the mall w/ a friend and we're gonna chill, flirt, and find some good sales.
Last Monday I actually found a rose and a bow of Ferrero Rocher chocolates (my favourite!!) in front of my locker. I don't know who gave them to me, but it was very sweet (excuse the pun :P)!

Silence

It can drain you of all thoughts, good and bad. It can leave you in the dark with no way to get out. You just sit there, staring into space, until someone comes to save you from the swallowing emptiness.

It also floods your head with thoughts and memories. Good ones, bad ones. Eventually your Train of Thought collides with itself, and you're left with nothing but jumbled questions and answers. It's your responsibility to clean the mess.
